I am not going to tell you how to do this work just share a few hopefully useful tips and pictures.

Text Box: A picture is sometimes worth a thousand words when it comes to putting it back together again
I always try to take a photograph of anything I dismantle  .                               I                                                                                                                        or take some time with paper and pencil and  draw in as                                                                                                                                                            much detail as I can what I am dismantling .

Always allow plenty of time even a little job like removing a nut can take ages especially, if it has been in situ for 23 years or more .

Make yourself a tool 100 x15 x 2 mm for brake adjusting

Keep everything clean especially the brake shoes and ware a mask when cleaning away accumulated dust

If you are going to replace the brake shoes its worth considering                                                                                                                                                        renewing the wheel cylinders at the same time.  .
